Keystone Announces Updates For The Montana & Montana High Country 2021 Lineups
Keystone recently announced that its 2021 Montana and Montana High Country fifth wheels will come standard with two of the most frequently requested features: the Dexter Gladiator Robust Sprung Axle Package and the Super SolarFlex solar energy system, as standard equipment.
About The Axle Package
The Dexter Gladiator Robust Sprung Axle has a 50% thicker axle tube that provides more even tire wear and a longer axle life. The leaf spring has increased from 6,000 and 7,000 pounds to 7,000 and 8,000 pounds, respectively, for a longer spring life and decreased chance of flattened springs. The package also includes the self-adjusting Nev-R-Adjust brake system that comes with a five-year limited warranty.
About The Solar Energy System
The Super SolarFlex system has five inverted outlets, inverter prep, and a roof access port which will be standard on all 2021 Montana models. An optional package includes a grid-style 300-watt solar panel, a 30-amp MPPT controller, and a 2,000-watt inverter. “Rewiring a coach for an aftermarket solar system is a massive pain point for our customers,” says Keystone’s Montana Product Manager Sam Lengerich. “We wanted to eliminate that headache by building a plug-and-play solution, whether owners go with a factory system like Super SolarFlex or choose their own components.”
