Keystone RV Company Unveils 2020 Cougar Travel Trailer Lineup, Including Newly Designed Exterior & Two New Floorplans

Keystone RV Company recently unveiled some of the changes and updates coming to its 2020 lineup of Cougar travel trailers. All new 2020 models will feature new “brilliant white sidewalls” and “textured metal skirting,” according to Keystone. The company will also introduce two new floorplan options with the 30RKD and 29FKD, both of which are part of the bed slide travel trailer model group. All Cougar campers also come standard with the iN-Command smart trailer system, which allows owners to remotely control lights, water pumps and heaters, slide outs and awnings, and more from their smartphones.

New Floorplans

Keystone puts the new Cougar 30RKD and 29FKD floorplans in the same category as its existing 29RLD and 32RLI models, which are all in the 7,500-pound (3,402-kilogram) range and have bed slides measuring between 33 and 44 feet (10 to 13.4 meters). The company adds that they are also lightweight enough to “be towed by most half-ton trucks.” Cougar travel trailers also feature spacious master bedroom suites that include king-sized beds, large wardrobes, and three-piece baths.

Keystone RV Cougar Half-Ton Features

The interiors of Keystone’s 2020 Cougar travel trailers feature vintage maple-glazed hardwood cabinets, 8-cubic-foot refrigerators, 0.9-cubic-foot microwaves, 21-inch Furrion ranges, stainless steel under-mount sinks, and LED lighting throughout. Each of the half-ton models also features ducted air conditioning and a ducted furnace as well as a climate guard protection package that includes insulated slide floors, insulation for the underbelly, and other features to keep the temperature inside the camper just right. Optional add-ons include frameless, dual-pane windows, a freestanding dinette and chairs, theater seating, an automatic leveling system, a fireplace, and more.
