Hit The Road In Comfort & Style With The New Airstream Pottery Barn Special Edition Travel Trailer

Airstream and Pottery Barn have introduced an all-new Airstream Pottery Barn Special Edition Travel Trailer; Airstream says it’s the result of two iconic brands combining more than 160 years of design expertise in an effort to redefine what it means to travel in comfort and style. Sleeping up to five, the 28-foot (8.5-meter) trailer comes in two floor plans, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. Both come with Pottery Barn Belgian Flax Linen Bedding and numerous other furnishings inspired by the décor specialist, including an outdoor hanging table.

Extending A Relationship

Although the hanging table (which mounts outside a window) is a first for an Airstream travel trailer, the special-edition trailer isn’t Airstream’s first creative foray with Pottery Barn. In May, the companies united to present a new Airstream X Pottery Barn Collection featuring more than 40 Pottery Barn-inspired items for use in Airstream recreation vehicles, including bedding, rugs, pillows, and dinnerware.

The Airstream Pottery Barn trailer is a two-axle “silver bullet”-style trailer with such inclusions as a custom sofa with flip-out table, a stainless-steel flat-apron deep kitchen sink, and a solid-walnut cutting board and sink cover. There’s also an onboard bathroom with shower and sink, a solid-oak wood dinette table from Pottery Barn’s Benchwright Dining Collection, and window coverings from the Pottery Barn Emery Linen Curtain Collection.

The Happy Glamper

Pottery Barn’s influence also extends to the new trailer’s exterior in the form of a button-activated Zip Dee awning with Pottery Barn design. An included Pottery Barn accessory kit provides an exclusive folding table and armchair set complemented by a 16-piece Mason Stoneware Dinnerware Set, a doormat, storage bins, and other accessories. The trailer also includes Airstream’s QuietStream ducted climate control system, a safety-enhancing rearview mirror, and Airstream Smart Control technology for monitoring and controlling primary onboard features with a smartphone app.
