Airstream Adds Eight New Bunk Options For Flying Cloud & International Travel Trailers
Airstream recently unveiled eight new bunk options for some of its most popular travel trailers, making them more flexible and family-friendly. Bunk configurations were originally only an option for Flying Cloud 23CB and 30FB models, but Airstream has expanded availability of bunks to 25FB and 27CB models in its Flying Cloud and International ranges. Both the 23CB and 30FB feature the same bunk configuration, with a half-sized bunk situated above a full-size bed in the rear corner of the camper. For reference, the 23CB sleeps seven with a dinette bed and four without one, while the 30FB can sleep up to eight people.
Eight New Bunk Options
The new sleeping arrangements for the 25FB and 27FB differ from previous configurations in that they are available with either a queen bed or dual twin beds instead of a full bed in the corner, and the bunk takes the place of an overhead storage compartment in the rear. In the twin configuration, a ladder between the two beds provides easy access, and in the queen configuration, “children will need to climb onto the bed first and then hop into the bunk,” Airstream explains. When not in use, the bunk compartment can offer additional storage space, further adding to the camper’s versatility.
