    About Pleasure-Way

In 1986, Merv Rumpel decided there was a need for high-quality Class B motorhomes and began building Pleasure-Way RVs. Based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, Pleasure-Way manufactures Class B and Class B+ motorhomes, emphasizing an old-fashioned work ethic and pride in strategic craftsmanship.

    Superior Craftsmanship

Pleasure-Way measures, constructs, and hand-fits custom-made parts onto each chassis without using an assembly line. One motorhome takes an average of six weeks and 400 man-hours to complete from start to finish. During the welding and metal fabrication stage, fiberglass bonds to steel using Sikaflex, a special adhesive to ensure high structural strength.

Custom cabinetry is a distinguished feature in Pleasure-Way RVs. Hardwood maple doors are handcrafted in an on-site mill shop. The final stages involve sanding and staining by hand for precise quality. Pleasure-Way says this labor-intensive process takes over 22 hours to finish one set of cabinet doors.

    Pleasure-Way RVs

Each motorhome is built to endure any off-road adventure with its compact size. Pleasure-Way motorhomes range between 17.75 to 22.75 feet (5.4 to 6.9 meters) in length, allowing for nimble movement in compact campsites and off-road paths.

Plateau is the longest-running Pleasure-Way product line, featuring both Class B and Class B+ models. It includes the Plateau XLTS Class B+ widebody with flexible living spaces and the Plateau FL camper van with two separate living areas. Built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, the Plateau line is fit to accommodate any lifestyle with various floor plans. The Ontour line of AWD camper vans provides ample headroom and the longest rear bed in the Class B lineup.

    Standard Innovations

Pleasure-Way motorhomes come with 600-amp-hour Eco-ion lithium iron phosphate batteries for fast charging, which have a lifespan of 2,000 to 3,000 cycles. Each coach includes a 10-inch touchscreen so campers can monitor battery life and manage climate control, AC power sources, lighting controls, and more.
