About Motorhome Toy Haulers
Although far less plentiful than fifth-wheel and travel trailer toy haulers, there are Class A or C motorhome toy haulers with a garage for ATVs, motorcycles, jet skis, and more. The obvious difference is that, being self-propelled, a motorhome toy hauler requires no tow vehicle and has a correspondingly shorter total length on the road and in camp.
Motorhome toy haulers may be offered as a discrete model, such as the Thor Motor Coach Outlaw or Renegade RV Classic Toy Hauler, or as a particular floor plan of a model such as Newmar’s Canyon Star with floor plan 3927.
Garage Features

Thor Motor Coach Outlaw Motorhome Toy Hauler
The ample amount of space in a motorhome toy hauler’s garage offers plenty of room for bikes, kayaks, and many other types of toys you can enjoy at your destination. The garage floor area of recent models are 8 feet by 10 feet, 2 inches (2.4 by 3.1 meters) for the Thor Outlaw Class A and 8 by 6 ft (2.4 by 1.8 m) or 8 by 8 ft (2.4 by 2.4 m) for the Thor Outlaw Class C. The Newmar Canyon Star’s 3927 floor plan has a 95.5- by 120-inch (2.43-by 3-m) garage.
Some motorhome garages have a door that doubles as a ramp for loading and unloading small vehicles. Others have a ramp that is separate from the garage door, which may be of the roll-up type. Note that some garages include a pull-down bed, so the space can double as a spare bedroom when it’s unloaded.
