This 2000 Holiday Rambler Ambassador is a diesel pusher built on a Roadmaster Rail chassis, and it has a beautiful interior. It shows 85,436 miles. The engine starts within a few seconds, the transmission shifts smoothly, and it drove great on our road test. It accelerated well, the brakes were good, and the suspension felt solid.
This Class A motorhome is perfect for budget-conscious RV buyers as it provides the benefits of a diesel pusher for a fraction of the cost.
The Ambassador was a high-end coach when it was new, and it still feels that way inside. The cabinet doors and hinges are in excellent condition, the wallpapered walls and ceiling look excellent, and the seats and furniture are in near-perfect shape with no tears or stains. There is a three-seat couch, a recliner, and a dinette, and the living room slide-out gives you plenty of space. It also has a washer and dryer, a queen bedroom with a wardrobe and mirror, pass-through storage, a water hose reel, and a tow hitch.

The roof air, furnace, microwave, washer, dryer, cooktop, and awning were not tested.
The motorhome carries a salvage title because of minor front-end damage, which you can see in the photos. We did not find any frame or structural damage.
This is a lot of luxury diesel pusher for the money. It has a strong drivetrain, newer tires, and an interior that has held up remarkably well. It would make a great coach for traveling or a great project.
