It is substantial, quiet, extremely well built, and loaded with equipment that would be very expensive to duplicate in a newer coach. At approximately 43'10" long with four slide-outs, this Queen IV opens into an enormous living space while riding on Monaco's heavy-duty Roadmaster S-Series semi-monocoque chassis. Monaco built the Dynasty with a substantial steel superstructure, steel-cage cockpit construction, laminated fiberglass sidewalls, a one-piece crowned fiberglass roof, side-hinged baggage doors, and heavily constructed slide rooms. The entire coach feels solid and extremely well made. This particular motorhome presents beautifully. The interior is clean, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant to walk into. It smells clean and does not have the old or musty RV smell that is common in coaches of this age. The cabinetry, tile flooring, lighting, fixtures, hardware, and overall finish are a reminder that the Dynasty was built as a luxury motorcoach rather than simply a large RV. The one-piece fiberglass roof is also in great condition. DRIVETRAIN AND CHASSIS Power comes from the Cummins ISL electronic turbo-diesel producing approximately 400 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque, paired with the highly regarded Allison 3000 MH 6-speed automatic transmission. Underneath is where the Dynasty really separates itself from many conventional diesel pushers. This coach rides on Monaco's Roadmaster S-Series semi-monocoque chassis with Full-Cushion Air Glide suspension, ten outboard-mounted air bags, ten shock absorbers, and a tag axle. AQUA-HOT HYDRONIC HEATING AND HOT WATER This Dynasty is equipped with an Aqua-Hot diesel/electric hydronic heating and hot water system. Aqua-Hot is one of the most desirable systems found in high-end diesel motorhomes. Instead of relying only on a conventional RV furnace and small water heater, the Aqua-Hot system uses heated coolant to provide domestic hot water while also circulating heat throughout the coach. This gives you quiet, even interior heat and greatly improved hot-water capability compared with a traditional RV water heater. For warm weather use, this coach is equipped with three roof-mounted air conditioners with heat pumps. 10,000-WATT ONAN QUIET DIESEL GENERATOR This Dynasty is equipped with the large Onan 10.0 kW Quiet Diesel generator. The generator provides enough power to comfortably support a coach of this size when shore power is unavailable. The generator is mounted in the front of the coach on a slide-out tray, making service and access much easier. Combined with the 50-amp electrical system, inverter system, and three massive roof-mounted solar panels installed on this motorhome, it is very well equipped for extended travel and camping. FOUR-SLIDE QUEEN IV FLOORPLAN The 43 Queen IV is a true four-slide floorplan. With all four slides extended, the interior becomes extremely spacious. The layout provides a large front living area, full kitchen, dining area, large bathroom area, and private rear bedroom. Although Monaco designated this floorplan the Queen IV, this particular coach is equipped with a king bed. The bedroom offers an impressive amount of cabinetry, wardrobe space, and storage. Tile flooring extends almost the entire length of the motorhome, from the front living area back into the bedroom area, giving the entire coach a very substantial residential feel. INTERIOR CRAFTSMANSHIP One of the biggest reasons to consider a Monaco Dynasty is the interior construction. There is a noticeable difference between lightweight modern RV cabinetry and the substantial woodwork used in coaches like this. The cabinetry throughout the motorhome feels like real furniture rather than lightweight RV construction. There is indirect lighting throughout the motorhome rather than relying entirely on exposed overhead fixtures. The indirect and accent lighting gives the interior a much warmer residential atmosphere in the evenings. BASEMENT AND EXTERIOR STORAGE The basement storage on this coach is exceptional. One of the large pass-through storage compartments includes a full sliding storage tray that can be accessed from either side of the motorhome. The rear fiberglass damage was relatively minimal and has since been repaired. The entire motorhome has been gone through and thoroughly tested. That history is also an important part of who we are and why we purchased this coach in the first place. We are a small specialized team based in Utah that focuses on finding unique, desirable motorhomes from around the country that have been declared total losses but still have a tremendous amount of life and value left in them. We specifically search for rare and high-end coaches where the damage is relatively minimal compared with the overall value and condition of the motorhome. Many of the coaches we purchase were totaled because of localized fiberglass, cosmetic, storm, theft, or other repairable damage rather than because the entire motorhome was destroyed. Insurance companies often total older luxury motorhomes because conventional RV repair rates can make even relatively localized damage expensive compared with the insurance company's calculated vehicle value.
