Come check out our pre-owned 2017 Forest River Freedom Express 279RLDS, a well laid out travel trailer built for couples or small families who want their own private space at camp. The front bedroom sits behind a full sliding door and holds a queen bed with mirrored closet doors, while the center kitchen features a U-shaped dinette on the slide, a mid-size fridge, a 3-burner range, a microwave, and a good sized pantry for dry goods. The rear living area is open and bright, with a sofa that folds out to add sleeping space alongside the dinette, bringing total sleeping capacity up to six. A full bathroom rounds out the layout, with a skylight over the shower and a mirrored medicine cabinet for everyday convenience. Outside, this unit rides on a two axle setup with aluminum wheels and includes a power retractable slide, an 18 foot power awning, an exterior shower for rinsing off after a day outdoors, and dual propane tanks for extended cooking and hot water away from hookups. Fresh, gray, and black water tanks are sized to keep you comfortable for a weekend or longer, and the trailer comes prewired for A/C, cable, and satellite so you can get set up quick at the campsite. At just under 32 feet and a dry weight under 6,000 pounds, it tows easily behind most half-ton trucks and SUVs, making it a solid pick for anyone getting into camping without wanting a heavy rig.
