Description
2024 Forest River Salem Platinum 22ERASX
Enjoy a couples-focused layout with residential-style comfort in the 2024 Forest River Salem Platinum 22ERASX. This travel trailer features a spacious rear kitchen, walk-through bathroom, private front bedroom, single slideout, theater seating, and swiveling entertainment center, all wrapped in the upgraded Platinum Package's smooth fiberglass exterior.
The standout rear kitchen provides plenty of room for preparing meals, with generous countertop space, a large pantry, oversized 11 cu. ft. 12V refrigerator, three-burner cooktop, microwave/convection oven, sink and extensive cabinetry. A convenient bar area with two stools provides additional dining space without taking up the room of a traditional dinette.
In the living area, comfortable theater seating sits across from a swiveling entertainment center with hidden storage behind it. The open single-slide design provides additional interior room while keeping the overall trailer at a manageable size for couples who want more living space without moving into a much larger RV.
A walk-through bathroom separates the living area from the private front bedroom and includes a walk-in shower, toilet, sink, skylight, and storage. Up front, the bedroom features a custom king Versa-Tilt bed with wardrobes and nightstands on both sides.
Other features include a 60K tankless water heater, heated and enclosed Accessi-Belly, power tongue jack, power awning with adjustable legs and exterior LED lighting, black-tank flush, CPAP storage, modern roller shades, residential-style soundbar, and solar equipment/prep.
Forest River's 2024 factory brochure lists the 22ERAS at 28' 2" long, with approximately 6,196 lbs. UVW and a 685-lb. hitch weight. The floorplan provides 40 gallons of fresh water, 60 gallons of gray-water capacity, and 30 gallons of black-water capacity. Individual Platinum units can vary slightly in actual unloaded weight because of installed equipment and options.
With its rear kitchen, king Versa-Tilt bed, theater seating, walk-through bath, hidden pantry, swiveling entertainment center, and upgraded fiberglass exterior, the 2024 Forest River Salem Platinum 22ERASX is a comfortable couples coach designed for relaxing weekend trips or longer campground stays.
