Thor Motor Coach has introduced the Explorer Package Ride Enhancement Kit, an optional upgrade now available on the Omni Trail and Magnitude Grand Super C motorhomes. Designed for RVers who want the freedom to venture beyond paved campgrounds, the package enhances both everyday drivability and off-road capability. Whether navigating forest roads, sandy terrain, or long stretches of highway, the Explorer Package helps drivers travel with greater confidence and control.

Built For Better Performance On Any Terrain

Thor Motor Coach designed the Explorer Package to improve ride quality and stability. A 2-inch BDS lift kit increases ground clearance, making it easier to navigate uneven or rocky terrain. Front and rear Fox performance shocks work alongside a steering stabilizer to create a smoother, more controlled ride with reduced vibration and improved handling. These upgrades help drivers stay comfortable and confident whether exploring back roads or cruising between destinations.

Rugged Looks With Practical Protection

In addition to performance upgrades, the Explorer Package adds a bold exterior design. A full-body paint package paired with blackout grille and bumper accents gives the motorhome a modern, adventure-ready look. Invisible front paint protection helps guard against scratches and debris from gravel roads or low-hanging branches. An offset tow hitch is also included, making it easier to haul trailers, vehicles, or additional gear for extended trips.

The Omni Trail: Adventure-Ready Capability

The Omni Trail is built for travelers who want strong performance and comfort in a Super C motorhome. Models ride on either the Ford F-550 or F-600 chassis and are powered by a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbo-diesel engine producing 330 horsepower (246 kilowatts) and 950 pounds-foot (1,288 newton-meters) of torque. With 4x4 capability and up to a 12,000-pound (5,443-kilogram) trailer hitch, the Omni Trail is equally at home in highway travel and adventures off the beaten path.

Inside, the motorhome provides a comfortable living space with features such as theater seating with heat and massage, a Dream Dinette, and the Rapid Camp control system that lets owners manage lighting, slides, and water systems from a touchscreen or smartphone. Multiple Smart televisions and the Winegard ConnecT system help keep travelers connected and entertained wherever the road leads.
