Airstream’s single-axle aluminum-shell Caravel trailers are a popular lightweight option that can be pulled by an SUV and still provide everything you need for life on the road. The 2025 Caravel lineup offers new décor options featuring on-trend tone-on-tone designs with stylish textures and patterns in elegant earth tones.

The 16RB floor plan has been expanded by 2 inches (51 millimeters) for subtle shifts on the chassis. The freshwater tank is now below the floor, and the electrical center is under the dinette to provide more under-bed storage.

Home On The Road

The Caravels sleep up to four people and range from 16 to 22 feet (4.8 to 6.7 meters) in length. Each floor plan has a bedroom, galley kitchen, dinette, and bathroom to provide all the comforts of home wherever you go.

The 16RB, the smallest of the floor plans, has a rear bed and a wet bath. The 20FB and the 22FB have larger front bedrooms, a separate shower in the bathroom, and larger closets. The 22FB also has a larger U-shaped dinette. In each floor plan, the dinette converts to a second bed. The 24-in. 12-volt Smart TV connects to the JL Audio Stereo via Bluetooth for surround sound through four speakers and a subwoofer.

Dine In

The kitchen has a stainless steel gas stove with cast-iron burners, a convection microwave, a Baraldi vent, a stainless steel sink, a 12-volt refrigerator, and plenty of storage. The tempered glass stove cover and the sink cover enable additional prep space when needed.

Private Bathroom

The full bathrooms of the 20FB and 22FB have built-in seats in the standalone showers that can be removed for additional standing space. There is also a toilet, sink, and vanity with storage. Both floor plans also have an outdoor shower that can be used to hose off people, pets, and gear before entering the trailer. The 16RB’s wet bath has a shower head pass-through, creating an outdoor shower.

Enjoy The View

Take in the scenery from inside with large panoramic windows, or enjoy the outdoors under the awning. Optional window awnings are available to help keep the interior cool. The Caravel also comes with Airstream’s Quietstream ducted climate control system with an electronic thermostat and a heat pump that can warm the trailer without using the furnace by pulling ambient heat from the air. The onboard furnace will keep you warm when the weather dips below freezing.
