The Zephyr is the flagship RV from Tiffin Motorhomes, with a lengthy list of premium features and upscale amenities both inside and out. The Class A diesel pusher is 45 feet (13.7 meters) long with three slide-outs and room to sleep three to five people in spacious comfort. Tiffin updated the Zephyr for the 2024 model year with new standard and optional components and technologies.
Zephyr RV Interior & Exterior Options
New Zephyr aesthetics available for 2024 include new Generation 12 and 13 exterior paint options and new Voltage and Cardinal color schemes. Inside, the Zephyr’s cabinets have new Sandstone, Platinum, and Black Truffle stain options. Blue Delta Sweet Home and Blue Delta Rocker Chic treated fabric suites provide opportunities for a more colorful interior décor.
The Zephyr comes in two exterior design options with six color choices each. Its dual-pitch Girard awnings with integrated LED lighting shelter the external TV and soundbar. The coach includes four TVs in total.
Other 2024 Zephyr Features
A Firefly Integrations Eclipse module and its Vegatouch app let owners remotely control their Zephyr’s HVAC system, energy management, and more over an internet connection with a smartphone or tablet. The app also works locally over Bluetooth, where it can also control the power slides and Girard powered awnings.
Other new features for 2024 include an exterior grill option, which replaces a previously available outdoor kitchen setup. Elsewhere are wheel wells made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, a new pantry light, woven Infinity luxury vinyl flooring in the basements, and a stationary mount phone charger on the driver’s console.
Zephyr’s Luxury Interior & Appliances
Inside, the Zephyr has a full bath and a half and luxury features such as 7-ft (2.1-m) ceilings, heated tile floors, and three 15,000-BTU air conditioning units with heat pumps. Dual-pane, bonded windows let in natural light while insulating the interior.
The Zephyr is an all-electric coach with no gas appliances. A freezer in the basement supplements the bottom freezer portion of the 22-cubic foot (623-liter) stainless steel residential fridge in the kitchen. All told, the motorhome has 237 cu ft (6.7 cu m) of basement storage.
Modern Tech In The Zephyr
Numerous modern technologies assist the driver of the Zephyr and make travel safer. The motorhome has standard power heated side mirrors with cameras, electronic stability control, and a collision mitigation system with forward warning and active braking features. Tire pressure monitoring, traction control, and adaptive cruise control systems round out the list of standard safety features. Available options include solar power components and a Starlink Pro internet connection.
Zephyr Specifications
Tiffin builds the Zephyr on its proprietary PowerGlide raised rail chassis with a rear-engine design. Its 605-horsepower (451-kilowatt) Cummins X15 diesel engine produces 1,950 pound-force ft (2,644 Newton-meters) of torque. The coach has an Allison 6-speed automatic transmission and a three-stage compression brake.
For towing, the RV has a 20,000-pound (9,072-kilogram) max trailer weight and hitch rating and an Air Force One tow vehicle brake system. A 12.5-kilowatt Onan Quiet Diesel generator supplies auxiliary power as needed.
