Ember Recreational Vehicles recently debuted its new travel trailers to the public at the 2024 Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa, Florida. The show marks the first for the Overland Series gear hauler and three floor plans for the brand-new E-Series, which was announced last fall and is now in production.
About The E-Series
The E-Series of lightweight laminated travel trailers has four floor plan options consisting of two bunkhouse models and two couple-style trailers, ranging in length from 26 to 32 feet (8 to 9.7 meters). The Florida SuperShow marks the first time the 22MLQ, the 26ETS, and the 24RLD have been displayed away from Ember’s manufacturing facilities in Indiana.
The 22MLQ has a traditional couple-style layout that sleeps two to four people with a large kitchen and a full bath in the rear, living space with theater seating and a leafless dinette, and a queen bed with under-bed storage.
The 26ETS sleeps five to eight people and has the EmberTrack system in the rear to allow campers to customize their bunkhouse according to their needs, a super slide, and a private front bedroom with a queen bed.
The 24RLD is another couples-style coach that sleeps two to four people with a rear kitchen, a private bedroom with a queen bed and separate entry door in the front, a full bathroom, and a living area with theater seating and a legless dinette.
“From the initial concept of this project, purchase was focused on 'essential' RV elements necessary to go camping and enjoy time in the great outdoors, which is how it got its 'E-Series' name,” says Ember RV founder and CEO Ashley Bontrager. “All the essentials are included—and many key luxury items, too. These models are perfect for those who are wanting a better RVing experience from a well-built Ember travel trailer, but with a smaller price tag."
About The Overland Series 240TKR
The newest addition to the Overland Series, the 240TKR is a gear hauler that can sleep two to six people and is equipped with a ramp door built on Ember’s Trailblazer chassis with the Curt trailing arm independent suspension and the EmberTrack system. The 90- by 72-inch (2,286- by 1,829-millimeter) rear ramp door can be used as a party deck off the spacious gear garage, which can haul kayaks, dirt bikes, motorcycles, e-bikes, grill equipment, camping gear, and more.
The front end of the RV houses Ember’s patent-pending twin-king bed, which consists of two Murphy beds that can be used independently or combined to create a king-size bed. There is also a hanging wardrobe, which campers can move according to the bed setup, and a Stargazer skylight.
“The 240TKR not only has toy hauler appeal in the rear, but an extremely unique front bed setup with this twin-king reconfigurable space,” says Chris Barth, Ember RV founder, COO, and head of product development. “I’m extremely proud of what the team was able to design. It will allow owners to set up their sleeping situation differently each time they take a trip since it can easily convert from a standard king-size bed to two twin beds. It’s like a Swiss Army knife. We’re excited to show this off in Tampa.”
