New Winnebago Vista 34R Class A Motorhome Floor Plan Features Multifunction Rear Module

In September, Winnebago unveiled a new 34R floor plan for its Vista motorhome lineup at the America’s Largest RV Show. At 35.5 feet (10.8 meters) long, the gas-powered Class A recreational vehicle is the longest in the Vista family, which includes three other floor plans.

The 34R features two slide-outs and a nifty module in the rear section. The slide-out provides a king Murphy bed, dinette, and workstation, making the 34R a great choice for adventurers looking to work while on the road.

Vista 34R Power & Technology

The 34R leverages a 7.3-liter PFI V8 engine and a TorqShift 6-speed automatic transmission. The motorhome sits on a Ford F53 chassis and has a trailer hitch with a 5,000-pound (2,267-kilogram) towing capacity. The motorhome’s hydraulic brakes come with an anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Winnebago equipped the RV its new Driver Confidence Package. This suite of nine advanced driver-assistance technologies includes intelligent adaptive cruise control, pre-collision assist with active braking support, electronic stability control, and hill start assist.

Vista 34R Design & Features

Buyers can choose between two Town & Country interior décors with Salinas cabinetry and light or dark Ultrafabric colors. The 34R also has everything needed to prep and cook meals, including a Corian countertop, 3-burner range, microwave, double sink, and fridge/freezer. A pantry in the galley and another in a slide-out are available to store dry goods.

The motorhome has 159 cubic feet (4.5 cu meters) of exterior storage for gear. The exterior also features a 22-ft. (6.7-m) awning and an exterior entertainment center with a 32-inch HDTV and speakers.

Work, Eat & Sleep In The 34R

The 34R can sleep up to six people. After a night’s sleep in the king Murphy bed, you can fold it up and get right to work at the workstation or enjoy breakfast first using it as a dinette. The RV’s rear space also has dual storage spaces, a dresser, and two wardrobe closets.

The galley area includes additional sleeping and dining areas. The sofa converts to a bed and a U-shaped dinette has storage space and a television above it. Customers can also add a StudioLoft bed above the driver and passenger seats that can sleep two people.
