Cruiser RV Introduces The Essence: A New Lightweight 5th Wheel With 3 Floor Plans

Cruiser RV has added the new mid-profile Essence fifth wheel to its 2024 RV lineup. The company introduced the 28.8-foot-long (8.8-meter) Essence, which will come in three floor plans, at the Elkhart RV Open House trade show in late September.

“To create a fifth wheel on the lighter side, we’ve streamlined the construction and design as much as possible,” says Cruiser RV Senior General Manager John Jones. “But that sensibility truly shines through in the interior of the coach, where it’s reflected in the clean architectural lines and refined décor.”

Essence RV Features

Cruiser Essence weighs 8,177-pound (3,709-kilogram) and can be easily towed. The camper is constructed with a lightweight yet sturdy six-sided aluminum framework. The use of tongue and groove plywood throughout this recreational vehicle creates a stable base, and Azdel composite sidewall panels offer both lighter weight and better insulation compared to wood.

The camper has upgraded 16-inch tires capable of tackling various road conditions and a sleek fiberglass front cap that enhances aerodynamics for easier, more efficient towing. Additionally, tinted G20 windows keep harsh sunlight out and cool air inside.

Cruiser Makes Essence RV Feel Like Home

The E25K’s front bedroom boasts a queen bed with hidden storage space underneath as well as a closet prepped for a washer and dryer. The adjacent bathroom has a stand-up shower with upgraded surround frames, a skylight for natural lighting, and a vanity with a sink.

The RV’s open, airy main living space includes a 4-seat dinette for mealtime and two recliners with cup holders and overhead TV for relaxing after, and the RV kitchen has everything needed to prep and cook meals:

• Residential workstation sink with a waterfall faucet
• Air fryer oven and a microwave
• 16.2-cubic-foot (458-liter) RV fridge with French doors and two freezer drawers
