Fifth-wheel recreational vehicle buyers have new options in Keystone RV Company’s Montana 3941FO and 3857BR floor plans. The 3857BR provides buyers with a bonus room with an upper loft area that they can use as an additional sleeping area or attic space. For travelers who need to mix work with play, the 3941FO includes a private front office with its own door, desk, and storage space, as well as a panoramic view of the outdoors.

Work & Play

Montana fifth wheels are available in more than a dozen floor plans ranging from 35 to 42.6 feet (10.7 to 13 meters) long. The 42.6-ft 3941FO sleeps up to four people. Its master suite has a king bed (with an optional queen bed if you favor a little extra space), a dresser, a smart HDTV, and a closet prepped for a stackable washer and dryer. Two hide-a-bed sofas offer sleeping options in the entertainment area, which is also furnished with a smart HDTV, a fireplace, and power theater seating.

When travelers aren’t toiling away in the front office, they can enjoy the exterior kitchen that’s well-protected by separate 13- and 16-ft (4- and 4.9-m) awnings and includes a reefer drawer and a pull-out griddle for cooking everything from eggs and bacon to steaks. The interior kitchen boasts a cobblestone décor and provides a generous amount of roll-out counter space, a slide-out dinette with storage, and a ceiling fan to keep the area cool.

Bonus Sleeping Space

The 3857BR measures 40.9 ft. (12.5 m) and can sleep up to eight people. In addition to storage space, the RV’s bonus room provides a desk and a hide-a-bed sofa, which has a flip-bunk above it. You’ll find more sleeping space in the living area’s hide-a-bed sofa; the living area is also appointed with a smart HDTV (there’s another one of these up front in the master suite), a fireplace, and power theater seating.

Keystone says the 3857BR has features exclusive to Montana fifth wheels, such as an adjustable 23-inch (58.4-centimeter) dual-burner Suburban Griddle. The optional SolarFlex 1200i-L package is another Montana exclusive that can be subbed in for the fifth wheel’s standard SolarFlex 200 system; Keystone says it’s perfect for power users looking to get off the grid. The package includes four 300-watt solar panels for up to 1,200-W solar collection and two Dragonfly 270-amp-hour lithium energy storage batteries.
