Keystone RV Company offers many opulent yet affordable travel trailers in its Springdale line of bumper-pull models. The Springdale family of campers includes an amazing 40 floor plans in both single- and double-axle configurations.

The Springdale 281RK (“rear kitchen”) is a 32.4-foot (9.9-meter), 7,411-pound (3,362-kilogram) floor plan that sleeps up to four people. The Springdale 286BHU bunkhouse utility trailer, meanwhile, can sleep up to 10. It is 32.9 ft (10 m) in length and weighs 6,955 lbs (3,155 kg).

The Springdale 281RK

The Springdale 281RK boasts two slide-outs directly opposite each other, which greatly opens up the living area for entertaining. The slides feature theater seating on one side and a U-shaped dinette on the other. Both are surrounded by windows for panoramic views, as is the wraparound kitchen in the rear where natural light, ventilation, and a view of the great outdoors make meal preparation more enjoyable.

The 281RK’s master bedroom is separated from the living area by a full-width, walk-through bath. One side of the bathroom houses a 30- by 40-inch (762- by 1,016-millimeter) shower with a skylight that adds extra headroom along with illumination. A linen cabinet can be accessed from both the bath and the bedroom. The large bathroom also acts as a privacy buffer between the living space and master suite, Keystone says.

Keystone equips the 281RK with USB charging ports, each of which has a storage net nearby for rechargeable electronics. The travel trailer comes with a SolarFlex 200 solar power system and 100-Ah Dragonfly lithium-ion batteries as standard features.

The Springdale 286BHU

Keystone’s Springdale 286BHU bunkhouse utility travel trailer comes with a large slide, double entry doors, and double bunks. A bottom bunk flips up to add 22 more square feet (2 square meters) of storage space, not counting the camper’s pass-through storage. An exterior door provides access to this rear storage area, which can house full-sized bikes, storage totes, a generator, and more. Around the corner is a refrigerator drawer for outdoor access to beverages and food.

Like the Springdale 281RK, the 286BHU includes a U-shaped dinette and a walk-through bathroom separating the main bedroom from the living room. A 40-in. TV is mounted above a standard electric fireplace. The interior of the 286BHU is available in Midnight and Morning Fog color palettes.
