Thor Motor Coach Adds 37-Foot Floor Plan To Indigo & Luminate Class A Motorhome Lineups

The Thor Motor Coach luxury-minded Indigo and Luminate Class A motorhomes are adding a DD35 floor plan for 2024 that measures 37 feet (11.3 meters) long and can sleep up to seven people. The Indigo and Luminate also provide customers with a 36.75-ft (11.2-m) BB35 floor plan that has bunk beds and can sleep up to seven people, and a 37-ft CC35 floor plan with a sprawling king bed and 7-person sleeping capacity. Although many features are common to all three floor plans, the Dream Dinette in the DD35 is the largest at 78 inches (198 centimeters).

Lap Of Luxury

Whether choosing the DD35 or another Indigo or Luminate floor plan, you can expect to find a wide variety of luxury features and amenities waiting. For example, the DD35 boasts a roomy, home-like kitchen perfect for prepping and cooking large meals. Along with a pantry, solid-surface countertops, and a double-bowl sink, there is a spacious 19-cubic-foot (0.54-cubic-meter) side-by-side residential refrigerator, a 3-burner gas range and oven, and a 30-in. (76.2-cm) steel microwave above the range.

After meals, the DD35 has multiple Smart TVs for relaxing, including a 49-in. LED in front of a 68-in. (173-cm) jack-knife sofa and a 32-in. exterior model with a built-in sound bar underneath a powered 18-ft. (5.5-m) awning with integrated LED lighting. A stow-away table between the front captain chairs is an ideal spot for sipping your morning coffee.

A Look At The Indigo & Luminate

The Indigo and Luminate are built on a Ford F-53 chassis and have a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 22,000 pounds (9,979 kilograms) and a hitch rating of 8,000 lbs (3,628 kg). Four exterior paint color schemes are available for both RVs, although their options differ. Buyers also have two, albeit different, interior décor options but the same Coastline Grey and Baymont cabinetry schemes available. Each RV’s floor plans include a king bed in the bedroom, but the DD35 and CC35 have a powered drop-down overhead bunk with a Cotton Cloud mattress at the front of the vehicle rather than the BB35’s bunk beds.

Whether you opt for an Indigo or Luminate, a rooftop Winegard ConnecT 2.0 unit is included to carry out Wi-Fi, 4G hotspot, and TV antenna duties, as is a 300-watt solar charging system for off-the-grid campouts. There is also a Rapid Camp+ Multiplex System for monitoring and controlling RV systems via Bluetooth or touchscreen and a Modern Dash Radio with a 10-in. touchscreen equipped with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and other functions.
