Keystone RV highlighted three new Arcadia models when announcing updates to its 2023 fifth-wheel lineup. The 288SLBH and 293SLRD are Super Lite fifth wheels and offer a small, more manageable size that’s ideal for towing behind half-ton and three-quarter-ton trucks. Looking at the entire model family, Arcadia’s Super Lite fifth wheels are available in lengths from 28 to 34 feet (8.5 to 10.4 meters). The new Arcadia 3550MB adds to Keystone’s mid-bunk floor plan options and boasts a large rear kitchen and master bed slide-out.
Arcadia 288SLBH Details
The 288SLBH floor plan has an eight-person sleeping capacity. The sleeping spaces are headlined by the master suite with a queen-size bed and wardrobe slide-out at the front of the fifth wheel. Keystone also includes extra-long bunk beds in the rear, and the 288LSBH can be fitted with a tri-fold sofa. The 288SLBH weighs 8,825 pounds (4,003 kilograms) and is 32.7 ft (10 m) long. Keystone uses middle of the fifth wheel to add amenities customers have asked for, including a coat bench area to give owners space to sit while putting on and taking off their shoes. In the kitchen, Keystone adds a hidden pantry door with gas struts to stop the door from swinging open when the RV isn’t level.
Arcadia 293SLRD Details
The 293SLRD comes in at 29.25 ft (8.9 m) and weighs 7,630 lbs (3,460 kg), making it one of the shortest, lightest-weight floor plans in the Arcadia Super Lite series. Up front, the 293SLRD RV takes full advantage of the Arcadia’s forward-leaning cap and Spacesaver upper deck to create a private master suite. Here, Keystone includes a queen-size bed, wardrobe storage, and a bathroom with a 48- by 30-inch (122- by 76-centimeter) shower. The RV sports a 20-ft (6.1-m) awning on its exterior, and an extra-large pass-through storage space down below.
Arcadia 3550MB Details
The 39.3-ft (12-m) Arcadia 3550MB is similar in design to the 3910MB floor plan (the first mid-bunk Arcadia) Keystone announced last fall. The mid-bunk on the 3550MB is a sleeper sofa that fits in a slide, and Keystone includes a desk for an area that doubles as a workspace. The entrance is equipped with bench with store and a set of coat hooks to provide a convenient spot for coats and shoes. The master bedroom boasts a California king-size bed and convenient access to the prepped area for a dryer and washer.
