Tiffin Motorhomes Brings New Allegro Bay Super-C Class Motorhome To Florida RV SuperShow

Tiffin Motorhomes is at the 2022 Florida RV SuperShow this week showcasing its new Super-C class Allegro Bay motorhome that’s available in 39.4-foot (12-meter) 38AB full bath and 38BB bath-and-a-half floor plans. The Alabama-based manufacturer also offers an all-electric coach option for the Allegro Bay that features an AquaHot Ultra-Compact Hydronic Heating System and an induction cooktop, thus eliminating the need for a propane tank.

The Florida RV SuperShow is hosted by the Florida RV Trade Association and runs through January 23 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.

The Allegro Bay Up Close

Available in six exterior color schemes, the Allegro Bay is built on a custom Freightliner S2RV chassis with a Trac-Tech full-time, no-spin differential single rear axle and full-time automatic traction control. The S2RV has a sloped hood, a larger windshield, and LED lights that work together to enhance the driver’s view of the road ahead. The RV’s 360-horsepower (268-kilowatt) Cummins B6.7 diesel engine is mated with an Allison 3000 MH six-speed automatic transmission. The motorhome has a 33,000-pound (15,000-kilogram) gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), and can tow loads up to 12,000 lbs (5,443 kg) in case you’d like to take a horse trailer, boat, or motorcycle trailer along for the ride. And speaking of trailers, the chassis’ rear air suspension has a manual dump valve that quickly lowers the rear axle to simplify hitching and unhitching.

The motorhome has a 23.25-ft. (7.1-m) wheelbase, and is 13.2 ft high by 8.4 ft wide (4 m by 2.6 m). It comes with a 24-gallon (91-liter) propane tank, a Truma AquaGo Comfort instant water heater, and is dry-camp-ready thanks to a 150-gal (568-L) fresh water tank. Also included is a 45-gal (170-L) black tank and 70-gal (265-L) grey tank. The AquaView ShowerMiser system, which conserves fresh and gray tank capacities, and four AGM Extended Cycle House Batteries all combine to extend your favorite trips.

The Allegro Bay’s long feature list includes Girard slide-out toppers and a Girard patio awning with LED lighting, an 8-kilowatt Onan quiet diesel generator, two air conditioners, a furnace, a residential refrigerator, a three-burner cooktop, a convection microwave, and the Spyder multiplex control system. The bedroom comes with amenities including a ceiling fan, a queen-sized memory foam mattress (a king-sized mattress is an available option), and flat-panel TV.

There’s also a centralized entertainment center, an exterior TV with sound bar, a 7.75-inch multi-function touchscreen audio system with rear camera display, handcrafted cabinet doors and fascias, luxury vinyl tile, and keyless entry. Available options include lithium-ion house batteries, Wi-Fi connectivity, a dishwasher, and solar panels.
