Fleetwood Announces Updated Discovery Class A Motorhome For 2022
Fleetwood RV recently announced its 2022 model year Discovery with updated features as well as the classic ones that have made the Discovery a favorite for 26 years. The Discovery is built on Fleetwood’s exclusive Freedom Bridge with Freightliner Custom Chassis XCM, is powered by a 360-horsepower (268-kilowatt) turbocharged engine with 800 pounds-foot (1,085 newton-meters) of torque, and has the BrakeSync supplemental braking system. The RV has a 10,000-pound 4,535-kilogram) towing capacity and offers a technology package that includes Wi-Fi Ranger, Cell Booster, a 300-watt solar panel, collision avoidance, and Firefly Eclipse.
Interior Comforts
The Discovery comes in four floor plan options, the 36Q, 38K, 38N, and 38W, which feature a king bed, a bathroom, LED TVs in the bedroom and living areas, and a kitchen with microwave, cooktop, sink, and a refrigerator with ice and water in the door. A dishwasher is also available as an option. Most models also have a washer and dryer, an electric fireplace, and a sofa sleeper with pull-out twin bed. The Discover 38N also has a bunk area for more sleeping space. An optional Hide-A-Loft power drop-down overhead bunk with LED TV is also available. The driver and passenger seats both have reclining backs, swivel, and heat while the passenger seat also has a manual or power footrest. The unit is equipped with two 15K BTU roof air conditioners to keep the interior cool in warm weather.
In addition to the interior entertainment features, the RV also has an exterior entertainment center with an LED TV and Bluetooth sound bar. The Discovery has four exterior color options and three interior décor choices with Vacu-Bond floors, walls, and ceilings, and has Powerlock System interlocking floor, walls, and roof.
