Thor Motor Coach’s 2020 model year Class A and Class C motorhomes, recreational utility vehicles (RUVs), and toy haulers all share the addition of the Winegard ConnecT 2.0 4G LTE router and Wi-Fi extender as a standard feature, but each model also has its own unique updates and upgrades. Take, for example, the Quantum Class C motorhome, which features a newly redesigned front cap with a built-in skylight. The Quantum is also one of the more customizable Thor RVs, with an impressive nine floorplans to choose from, ranging in length from 24 to 32.5 feet (7.3 to 9.9 meters) as well as numerous interior and exterior options that allow you to get a Quantum just the way you want it.
Interior Features & Options
There are three interior color schemes available for the 2020 Quantum, including Arctic Frost II, Cloud Nine II, and Midtown Taupe II, as well as two cabinetry options, Artisan Cherry and Prestige Maple. All Quantum models come standard with 84-inch interior heights, hard vinyl ceilings, pressed laminate countertops, and residential vinyl flooring and LED lighting throughout. In the kitchen, you’ll find either an 11- or 16-cubic-foot refrigerator with icemaker, a two- or three-burner gas cooktop, stainless-steel sink, and a convection microwave oven (in select models). Depending on the model, the bedroom and bathroom feature a queen or king size bed, porcelain toilet, stainless steel sink, glass door shower with skylight, and more.
Other features include a leatherette Dream Dinette booth, a cab-over bunk ladder, a 40-inch television located in either the cab-over or the living area, a 32-inch TV in the bedroom, and privacy roller shades. Thor Motor Coach also offers a Platinum Package for all models that includes such upgrades as premium window privacy roller shades and a solid surface kitchen countertop and a Diamond Package for select models that features black frameless windows, a 30-inch convection microwave oven, and a residential refrigerator.
Exterior Features & Under The Hood
All Quantum models come standard with a Ford E-Series Chassis that features a 6.8-liter V10 engine that produces 305 horsepower (227.4 kilowatts) and 420 pounds-foot (569.4 newton meters) of torque. An optional Chevrolet chassis is available with the GR22 and RS26 floorplans; this configuration features a 6-liter V8 engine that produces 323 horsepower (241 kilowatts) and 373 pounds-foot (505.7 newton-meters) of torque. Cockpit features include a touchscreen dash radio with navigation and backup monitor, map light, windshield privacy curtain, keyless entry, emergency engine start switch, and power windows and door locks.
Exterior highlights include an 8,000-pound (3,628.7 kilogram) trailer hitch, MEGA-Storage compartment, lighted storage compartments, power patio awning with LED lighting, slide-out room topper awnings, entry door with grab handle, and more. There are also six available exterior designs, including options for HD-MAX exterior with graphics as well as partial paint and full-body paint packages.
