Inside The 2020 Model Year Tuscany Motorhome Lineup From Thor Motor Coach

Electronics, floor plans, interior décor, and exterior paint options were all among the numerous new updates and features that Thor Motor Coach announced in early May for its 2020 model year Class A and Class C motorhomes, RUVs (recreational utility vehicles), and toy haulers. For Thor’s luxury-centric Tuscany Class A diesel motorhomes, Thor announced new heated porcelain tile flooring, along with an important tech update that can be found throughout the company’s product line.

Luxury Features

Thor said it’s making the Winegard ConnecT 2.0 system, which combines a 4G LTE router and Wi-Fi Extender, standard for the Tuscany and all other 2020 model year RVs. The router-extender combination aims to ensure travelers “get the strongest and safest Internet connection possible,” says Thor, which notes that those with a subscription to a 4G LTE network, such as Togo Roadlink, can use Winegard ConnecT 2.0 to connect to it for “uninterrupted RV internet streaming while traveling anywhere.”

Elsewhere, the heated porcelain tile flooring addition joins a bevy of features already in place for the Tuscany lineup, which includes the 39.92-foot (12.17-meter) 38SQ, 41.1-foot (12.53-meter) 40RT, 44.83-foot (13.66-meter) 45JA, and 44.83-foot 45MX models, which range in starting price from $406,140 to $499,350 and sleep five to 10. Those features include multiple interior décor options, cabinetry styles, and exterior paint options, as well as furniture and captain’s chairs upholstered in Primera by Ultrafabrics, a 15-inch (38.1-centimeter) touchscreen radio/Bluetooth/Garmin RV GPS navigation/satellite radio in-dash display, an interior retractable 55-inch LED smart television, and an exterior 39-inch LED television.

Ride In Style

All the Tuscany models feature 295/80R 22.5-inch Michelin radial tires, a Freightliner XC-R chassis with Atlas foundation, and six-speed Allison MH-3000 automatic transmission. The models also provide 450 horsepower of rated power from a Cummins ISL 8.9-liter engine, a 150-gallon (567.8-liter) fuel tank, 91-gallon (344.5-liter) fresh water tank, and Aqua-Hot On Demand water heater.
