Airstream Connected Gives Owners Of Any Airstream RVs Access To AT&T 4G LTE

Airstream and AT&T now offer 4G LTE connectivity and data plans to owners of any Airstream travel trailer or touring coach via the new Airstream Connected solution. The $999 package, which doesn’t include the necessary professional installation, data plan, and taxes, consists of a roof-mounted antenna, mobile router, and GPS locator. You then use the Airstream Connected mobile application to not only manage the connection, but also to “use integrated arrival and departure checklists and connect with Airstream technical support.

Inclusive Expansion

Airstream already offered 4G LTE connectivity for its 2019 model year Airstream Classic travel trailers, but this recent move means that all Airstream customers will have the option. “Our owners view their Airstream as a home-away-from-home and connectivity is part of so many households today,” says Bob Wheeler, president and CEO of Airstream. “Solving for this in a mobile environment brings the flexibility to stay connected with family and friends, offers increased peace of mind, and provides the ability to work from anywhere.
