Thor Motor Coach Offers RV Control Systems For Compass, Four Winds & Tuscany Models
Thor Motor Coach recently made the Rapid Camp+ RV control system standard on its Compass Class B+ recreational utility vehicles (RUVs), but the company also offers similar solutions for its Four Winds Class C and Tuscany Class A motorhomes. Rapid Camp+ stands out because it lets you control your camper from the inside or use an application for mobile devices that lets you use certain controls from virtually anywhere. This includes generator customization, climate control, and the ability to control the awning, indoor and outdoor lighting, the electric stabilizing system, slideouts and more.
Four Winds
Four Winds 31-foot (9.5-meter) RVs from Thor Motor Coach take advantage of the previous iteration of Rapid Camp, which operates in a similar fashion to the “plus” version, but uses a compact remote control with a 50-foot (15-meter) range rather than a mobile app. The rechargeable remote, which can be clipped to a bracket inside the camper for internal access, gives you control over indoor and outdoor lighting, auto leveling, slideouts, the power awning, and generator settings.
Tuscany
Thor Motor Coach’s lineup of Class A Tuscany RVs don’t have a wireless option, but do include a multiplex wiring control system that offers similar controls to Rapid Camp, “but also protects the critical power structure of your motorhome,” according to the company. In addition to acting as a surge protector with built-in battery protection, it also offers control over several features in the RV, including memory lighting, separate zone climate control, indoor and outdoor lighting, the thermostat, and electrical source monitoring.
If you would like to take advantage of Rapid Camp, Rapid Camp+, or the multiplex wiring control system, you will find hundreds of new and used Thor Motor Home RVs for sale at RVUniverse.com.
