Keystone RV Reveals KeyTV For Watching Over-The-Air Cable & Satellite Television

Keystone RV Company just announced a new solution called KeyTV that aims to make it easier for RV enthusiasts to watch television via cable, satellite, or over-the-air antenna and listen to FM radio on their in-RV entertainment systems. “Old-style RV TV systems are too complicated, too confusing and too difficult to trace or repair,” says Mark Bullock, senior vice president of engineering at Keystone RV. “Our goal in creating KeyTV was to make it as simple as the system in your home. Plug and play, so to speak. We have succeeded 100% in achieving this goal.”

Entertainment Simplified

KeyTV, which has been in the works for around two and a half years, centralizes satellite and over-the-air cable feeds using a box that can then split the signal and send it to every TV outlet inside and outside of the RV. There are no splitters, and the system will automatically boost the over-the-air signal to make sure every TV gets the best available feed.

There is a roof-mounted antenna already connected to the KeyTV system on most new models. Owners have the option of connecting a satellite dish to the system, a task made simpler by the system’s color-coded wires and labeled ports. Supported satellite systems include Bell, DirecTV, DISH, and Shaw. The new KeyTV platform is exclusive to Keystone recreational vehicles and will be an option for most Keystone RVs starting in September of 2018.
